DIRECTOR AND CANTORS

Vicente Chavarria joined the Gloria Dei Choir as Director in December 2011.  He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music from the University of Miami (FL), and is currently completing doctoral work in Choral Music at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.  He also serves as Artistic Director of the USC Latin American Baroque Choir, which he founded in October 2011.  Prior to coming to California, he served as Artistic Director of Fra Angelico Chamber Choir, the Sibelius Camerata, and Amazonia Vocal Ensemble, as well as Music Director at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Miami.
